📦 SHIPPING POLICY

At Follow the Plants, we care deeply about getting your parcel to you smoothly, safely, and as quickly as possible — wherever you are on 🌍.

✨ Updating an Order

Changed your mind or forgot to add something?
If your order hasn’t been packed yet, email us right away at shop@followtheplants.com. If it’s still unprocessed, we’ll be happy to update your order. Once a packing slip is created, no changes can be made.

💸 REFUNDS & RETURNS

We stand behind the quality of our products. If your order arrives damaged or broken, please email us at shop@followtheplants.com within 7 days of delivery and attach clear photos of the damage.

✅ If verified, we’ll issue a full refund or send a replacement — whichever you prefer.
❌ We do not offer refunds for reasons other than damage upon arrival.

Please note:

• Claims made after 7 days may not be eligible for refund or replacement.

• Refunds or replacements will not be issued for damage caused during use or improper storage.

🚚 SHIPPING OVERVIEW

We ship worldwide from our EU warehouse using FedEx. You can choose between:

• FedEx Express (faster ✈️)

• FedEx Economy (more affordable 💰)

Shipping rates and delivery estimates are calculated by region:

💡 Orders over €300 ship free EU only 
📦 Add ~€5–€8 for every 0.5 kg extra depending on location.

🌟 IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTES

• You’ll receive tracking info once your order ships.

• Customs duties/taxes are not included in the price — these may apply depending on your country.

• Shipping is calculated based on the higher of actual vs. volumetric weight.

• Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs or local delays.

📮 ADDRESS & DELIVERY ISSUES

Please double-check your shipping address when placing your order.
If your package is returned due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts:

🔁 We can reship it — but you’ll need to cover the new shipping cost.
❌ If it's lost due to an incorrect address, unfortunately we can't offer refunds.

📦 MISSING PACKAGES

If your tracking says delivered but you haven’t received anything — don’t panic!
Email us and we’ll open an investigation with the carrier. While we’ll do everything we can to help, please note:

• We are not responsible for carrier-related losses.

• We don’t insure packages beyond the carrier’s automatic coverage.

🛃 CUSTOMS & DUTIES

All international orders may be subject to import taxes, duties, and customs clearance fees depending on your country.

🚫 If you refuse to pay customs and the package is returned, we’ll refund the product cost (minus shipping and any return/customs fees) only if the package is returned in good condition.

🕒 ORDER PROCESSING

• Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days.

• During peak seasons, please allow an extra 1–3 days.

• Orders placed after 2pm CEST (Mon–Thu) will start processing the next business day.

• Weekend orders begin processing on Monday (unless it’s a public holiday).

🔄 BACKORDERS

In rare cases, an item might be temporarily out of stock. If so, we’ll email you with options:

1. Refund the missing item.

2. Hold the full order until it’s ready.

3. Swap for another product.

💳 PAYMENTS & TAXES

We accept all major credit/debit cards, bank transfers and PayPal.
All EU prices include VAT. If you're outside the EU, local customs charges may apply upon arrival.
