Charcoal toothpaste that whitens teeth

Have your teeth been stained by coffee, tea or wine? For the many who wonder if activated charcoal whitens their teeth, they are in luck. Activated charcoal helps whiten teeth while promoting good oral health. It does this by changing the pH balance in the mouth, thus helping to prevent cavities, bad breath and gum disease. It also works to whiten teeth by absorbing plaque and microscopic debris that stains teeth. The use of bamboo activated charcoal is the best natural solution for a bright smile. According to research by a professor of dentistry at King's College London, "Bamboo activated charcoal can be found to help remove external (extrinsic) stains from teeth without negative abrasive effects. He adds that activated charcoal is more effective than conventional toothpastes when used to delay the reappearance of surface stains on intact teeth after professional cleaning and polishing.

Why avoid fluoride in toothpaste?

Fluoride bioaccumulates, which means that not all of it is metabolised and/or excreted by your body's natural waste elimination. About 50 percent of fluoride ingested through water or other food sources is excreted through urine, while the other half tends to accumulate in calcified areas of the body, such as bones and teeth.

In addition to bones and teeth, fluoride accumulates in the pineal gland, a hormonal gland responsible for secreting melatonin to manage circadian rhythms and sleep patterns. A study to determine the concentration of fluoride in the pineal gland found that, when the adults in the study had died in old age, the ratio of calcium to fluoride in that gland was actually higher than in the bones. This suggests that fluoride plays a role in the calcification of this gland, which would lead to poor melatonin production over time.

Fluoride is an unnecessary chemical that should not be in public water supplies or any product that can be ingested in large quantities, and has the potential to harm the body.

Whatever the source, ingesting large amounts of fluoride is not good for you. While it may offer some benefits for strengthening teeth when used topically, the benefits outweigh the very serious long-term costs.

It is worth remembering that medications such as Prozac carry large amounts of fluoride and Fluoride free toothpaste studies has shown enough evidence on why this harmful chemical is not necessary.

How to use toothpaste tablets

Chew 1 tablet in your mouth and let it dissolve.
Brush as usual for 2 minutes.
Spit and rinse well
